Designed to combine a cutting-edge appearance with responsive performance, the Ventus V2 concept2 delivers all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow. Ventus V2 concept2 tires feature a high-grip, silica-enhanced tread compound to combine all-season traction with lower rolling resistance that promotes vehicle fuel economy. This compound is molded into a directional tread design featuring a continuous center rib flanked by interlocking intermediate blocks and notched shoulders to increase steering response and braking performance. Four wide circumferential grooves and a V-shaped tread pattern help drain water from under the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while shoulder block notches, 3D intermediate tread blocks and engineered sipes increase the number of biting edges to promote foul-weather traction.
