Reproduction of the original style evaporator core designed for use with 1967-69 Camaro, and 1968-73 Chevy II Nova models with small block engines and air conditioning. The evaporator core is where refrigerant changes state from a liquid into a gas, causing the sudden drop of temperature which is ultimately used to cool your interior. When replacing your evaporator, replacing all other major components is recommended. This core is located inside the suitcase assembly on the outer section of the firewall. Original GM part number # 3015635. The aluminum by-pass line may need to be adjusted depending on application. We recommend professional installation
