1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Camaro trunk latch supports are susceptible to rust and breakage. Once the latch support breaks, you may not be able to open or close you trunk lid. This stamped steel support welds to the rear body (taillight) panel inside the trunk. The latch then mounts to support brace.
