By improving over the factory Trans Am intake manifold, The BBK engineers were able to come up with a unit that delivers 12-15 additional rear wheel horsepower on the already hot Trans Am and 18-24 horsepower on the base LS-1 equipped Firebird models. Such highlights include a standard 85mm straight through design throttle inlet and low restrictive rounded runners for maximum horsepower as well as improved low end torque for great street or strip performance. For ease of installation this BBK SSI-Series manifold utilizes factory rubber O-ring gaskets and includes all required mounting hardware for installation.
