How do I know which date code is correct for my Camaro? A good rule of thumb is: If your Camaro's build date is August through March use wires coded: 3-Q-XX. If your build date is March through July use wires coded: 1-Q-XX. For example, say the build date on your 1967 Camaro's cowl tag is 11B. That would mean your Camaro was built the 2nd week of November 1966. Your spark plug wires would be date coded 3-Q-66.
