Eliminating the stock, power robbing engine-driven fan means more horsepower is available at the rear wheels and an electric fan maintains its cooling airflow even at idle. Four custom brackets need to be fabricated to mount this fan onto your stock Camaro radiator. A spacing distance of 1/4 to 1/2 between the base of the shroud and the radiator surface is required. Tie straps or pins that attach through the radiator core aren't suitable for electric fans larger than 10 inches in diameter.
