One of the biggest improvements you can make to your 1967-1969 Camaro is adding 4-wheel disc brakes. The improvement in stopping power will be huge. Our brake kit replicates the front disc brake system that was used on 1969 disc brake equipped Camaros and provides you with Gen III style single piston rear disc brakes . This kit offers you a choice of a 7" dual diaphragm brake booster, a 9" ACDelco booster or an 11" ACDelco booster that was like the original 1969 booster. It also allows the rear disc brakes to be installed on 10 or 12 bolt rear ends and with straight across or staggered shock mounting locations. Do not settle for just any brake conversion kit for your 1967, 1968, 1969 Camaro, use only the best.
Note: please specify in the comments section when ordering whether or not you have straight across or staggered rear shocks (originally 67's were straight across mounting and 68-69's were staggered).
Our brake kit features 11" front rotors and 10" rear rotors, stock style spindles, caliper mounting brackets (the rears have additional spacers to compensate for production variations in axle housing flanges), gold cadmium plated brake backing plates, single piston brake calipers, hard-working organic brake pads and all of the parts you will need to complete your Camaro disc brake conversion. Plus you'll be pleased to know that our kit, unlike others will work with the stock emergency brake system.
The Complete Brake Kit Includes The Following:
Rotors, Spindles, Bearings, Grease Seals, Spindle Gasket, Dust Caps, Castle Nuts, Washers,
Cotter Pins, Caliper Brackets, New Calipers, Organic Pads, Backing Plates, Flex Hose Clips, Banjo Bolts,
Steering Arm Bolts, Combination Valve, Valve Bracket, Valve Hardware, Brake Switch Pigtail, Pedal Rod Extension
