This console ammeter gauge has the correct color face with the correct size and font where others are too dark and the silk screen is too small. Don't settle for less. WARNING: Console Amp gauges measure amperage flowing parallel to the alternator circuit. This gauge CANNOT support the amperage running between the battery and the alternator. The parallel circuit is picked up at the battery junction block and the horn relay. Before connecting the Amp gauge to an original console gauge harness or conversion harness, make sure both the black wire and the black/white wire are hot. Failure to follow either of these procedures will result in the gauge burning up internally voiding the manufacturer's warranty.
